Castagnini – Viticoltore dei Colli Apuani

In the evocative setting of the Candia hills, in the municipality of Carrara, between the white marble quarries and the sea, Roberto Castagnini, always looking for superior quality and constant evolution, presents on the market fine wines that have distinguished themselves on the most renowned guides, obtaining international recognition.

Candia dei Colli Apuani is one of the DOCs that exists in the municipalities of Massa and Carrara, in the Province of Massa-Carrara

The Castagnini winery came to life in the 2000s, thanks to an ancient peasant tradition built thanks to a solid family background dating back to the early 50s.

The owner Roberto Castagnini, born and raised in the vineyards, followed in the footsteps of his maternal grandfather and learned from him the techniques for cultivating vines.

Day by day, ancient knowledge blends with the most modern winemaking techniques, in order to obtain refined products, capable of enhancing the territorial notes.

The vineyard extends for about 5 hectares of terraced vineyard, exposed to the sun and kissed by sea breezes.
