The DOC Colline Lucchesi <\/strong>is one of the oldest in Tuscany, dating back to 1968. First with red wines, combining the traditional Sangiovese with other Tuscan vines, such as Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo, and Colorino, Merlot, Syrah and to a lesser extent Moscati and Aleatici. Since<\/strong> 1985<\/strong> the DOC Colline Lucchesi has also been added to the Whites: alongside the traditional Trebbiano Toscano Vermentino, Greco<\/strong> and Grechetto, Malvasia with the addition of Chardonnay and Sauvignon and to a lesser extent local white grape varieties.<\/p>\n

Today, in addition to the above-mentioned, pure wines are produced from single grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot, Vermentino and Sauvignon.<\/strong> Finally, in the tradition of Lucca, there is no shortage of the production of Vin Santo,<\/strong> which is also DOC and even if produced in limited quantities, it is combined to give value to the wine productions of Lucca.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
